At the 17th Conference on Current Problems in Engineering Surveying (CPES), 20 presentations and 13 poster presentations were delivered. Our department presented one oral presentation and two poster presentations. At the event held at the Astronomical-Geodetic Observatory of the Warsaw University of Technology on May 22–23, 2025, the joint presentation by Bence Takács and Bence Hrutka received the award for best presentation. In their talk, they presented Cave Mapping with Autonomous Laser Scanning Module.
One of the poster presentations by Bence Takács, Sándor Tóth, and Zoltán Siki showcased a grid shift file developed for transforming between the ETR89 and EOV systems, enabling centimeter-level accuracy. The other poster, presented by Zoltán Siki, demonstrated the application of deep learning methods for time series data forecasting and outlier filtering through practical examples.
